Concerned about our environment, and our future generations to come, we use Spies Hecker Permahyd Waterborne paint system.  With its pioneering, environmentally-responsible technology, Permahyd Basecoat 280/285 led the way 20 years ago. In 1994, its efficient application and good performance were ahead of its time and considered somewhat of a revolution for the refinish market. Over the years, thousands of new color formulas were developed while technical innovations and customer feedback has led to the advanced quality product available. Today, Permahyd Basecoat 280/285 has an established place in the market as a dependable waterborne paint system. It is approved by leading car manufacturers and relied on by refinishers in 76 countries every day. In fact, this product is factory used today on most high end German vehicles.

In order to help us achieve the factory matched finish, we use the latest computer technology, teamed up with our highly experienced certified paint technicians. We are unique in offering our industry leading computerized color mapping camera system. This camera (Color Dialog spectrophotometer ) along with its CR/Plus color software,  captures an image of your specific paint color. This image is combined with the OEM provided color code, and then modified and or adjusted based on any variations from the original paint applied. Once the color has been identified, the paint is made in house with our computerized mixing machine for a precise match. Here are just some of the obstacles our color matching system accounts for on every vehicle. Multiple factory build locations, multiple formula mixes and variations, application conditions, sun fading, oxidation, tinted clears, 3 stage paints, previous repairs and neglect. Our TopGun paint team matched up with our long list of technology resources, will provide you with the closest achievable color match and factory finish available.

Our advanced paint system is applied in our state-of-the-art computer controlled Down Draft Spray Booth.  We then provide a factory matched baked on clear coat finish at 160 degrees. Another key factor to our paint system, is the use of clear coat flex additive in all plastic flexible parts. This allows for any minor bumper benders or push ins without your bumper delaminating.

Following your repair, our Limited Lifetime warranty covers the  finish on your vehicle repair as long as you own the car.
